The A-Nots was formed by two former members of a York PA punk band, The Bubonics (eventually renamed Phenagan), gigged from 1987 to 1991 in the South Central Pennsylvania area and played gigs at places such as: The Silo (Reading, PA); The Core Club (Harrisburg, PA); Unisound (Reading, PA); Swizzles (York, PA); North York Connections (York, PA) and many other places (some they wish to forget). They had gigs from Hanover to Reading and back.
After a 30 year hiatus, Pic and Sheen decided it was time to reform the band, playing all of the songs they wrote 30 years ago (plus a few new ones) and get back at it. When reforming the band, Sheen Relkam asked his son, Brandon Relkam, to come on board as the guitarist and after going through a few drummers, the band welcomed Glen Miller into the mix.
Now 30 years later, the band put out their first rehearsal CD "So What?" and a live CD "Live at The Church". The A-Nots recorded their first studio LP, "With All Due Disrespect", in 2022 at ROK10 Studios and it was released by Relkam Recordings in May of 2022.
In addition to the 2023 gigs in South Central PA, the band hopes to do a small tour during the summer of 2024 across multiple states. If that progresses, the band will make an announcement.
